The family of the late Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Sarfo, led by Hon. Sarah Adwoa Sarfo, head of the Kantanka family, has formally informed the Rt. Hon. Speaker of Parliament of the final funeral arrangements for the revered industrialist and man of God.
The delegation, comprising close relatives and church leaders, paid a courtesy call on the Speaker to present details of the burial. The funeral will take place on July 30, 2026, at Gomoa Mpota in the Central Region, followed by a grand service at Independence Square on July 31, 2026, and a second memorial service a week later at Heroes Park in Kumasi.
In his tribute, the Speaker eulogized Apostle Dr. Sarfo for his immense contributions to philanthropy, charity, religion, technological development, and agriculture. He praised the founder of the Kantanka Group and the Saviour Church of Ghana for his lifelong dedication to national growth and human welfare. The Speaker also commended the church for establishing a museum in his memory, describing it as a fitting tribute to a visionary who used his God-given talent to bless the nation.
He assured the family of Parliament’s full support and participation in the funeral activities, emphasizing that Ghana had lost a rare gem. Expressing gratitude to God for blessing the nation with such a leader, the Speaker noted that Apostle Dr. Sarfo’s legacy of faith, innovation, and service will continue to inspire generations.
