Five persons are currently in the grips of the Ghana Police Service for “unlawful harm” and “damage” at the Bono East Regional office of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC). Police investigate murder at Nkonya
The Police have commenced investigation into a murder incident which occurred on August 1 2022 at Nkonya Ntsumuru in the Oti Region. Preliminary investigation disclosed that the deceased, identified as Brempong Daniel, was allegedly ambushed and shot by unknown assailants while on his way to the farm. The Kumasi High Court has granted bail to a senior lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Dr. Wilberforce Aggrey who is standing trial over the disappearance of his wife, Rhodaline Amoah-Darko, a staff of the Lands Commission in Kumasi.
