President John Dramani Mahama has announced a slate of new appointments to the Office of the President, signaling a renewed push for effective governance and operational efficiency as his administration advances its agenda.
In a statement released by the Presidency, ten individuals have been named to key roles, reflecting what the President describes as “a commitment to effective leadership and responsive administration.”

Among the appointees is Mrs. Joyce Bawah Mogtari, who returns to the Presidency as Presidential Adviser and Special Aide to the President. Stanislav Xoese Dogbe and Nana Oye Bampoe Addo have been appointed Deputy Chiefs of Staff for Operations and Administration respectively, reinforcing the executive coordination team.
Former Finance Minister Seth Emmanuel Terkper assumes the role of Presidential Adviser on the Economy, while Professor Francis Dodoo will lead anti-corruption efforts as Presidential Adviser for the National Anti-Corruption Programme.
In a move that underscores Ghana’s growing diplomatic engagement in the Sahel region, Larry Gbevlo-Lartey has been named Special Envoy to the Alliance of Sahelian States.
The appointments also include Nana Yaa Jantuah and Beatrice Ananngfio as Presidential Staffers, Shamima Muslim as Deputy Presidential Spokesperson, and Professor Kwaku Danso-Boafo as Cabinet Secretary.
President Mahama expressed confidence in the appointees, stating that their “expertise and dedication will contribute to the progress and development of the nation.”
