As of October 14, 2025, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) has reported a cumulative total of 735 confirmed Mpox infections across the country.

The latest update indicates that 22 additional cases have emerged in recent days, triggering renewed health advisories.
Citizens are urged to safeguard themselves and others by practicing proper hygiene and promptly reporting any signs of illness.
According to the GHS, common symptoms of Mpox include fever, skin eruptions, headaches, muscle pain, swollen glands, chills, and fatigue.
The agency emphasized that individuals experiencing these symptoms should seek medical attention at the nearest clinic or hospital without hesitation.
Mpox was first identified in Ghana in 2022 and has continued to appear sporadically in various regions, prompting health officials to advocate for increased public vigilance and awareness.
