President Mahama Arrives in Cairo for Grand Egyptian Museum Inauguration

Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has arrived in Cairo ahead of the highly anticipated inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum, scheduled for Saturday.

The landmark event will be held under the patronage of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and is expected to draw a distinguished gathering of world leaders, monarchs, and dignitaries from across the globe.

President Mahama touched down in the Egyptian capital accompanied by Dr. Callistus Mahama, Executive Secretary to the President, and Stan Xoese Dogbe, Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations.

The Grand Egyptian Museum, majestically situated near the Giza Pyramids, is poised to become the world’s largest archaeological museum. It will showcase over 5,000 years of Egypt’s rich and enduring civilization, offering an unparalleled cultural and historical experience.
