As preparations intensify for the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council’s (GPCC) 2025 National Delegates Conference, Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, Patrick Yaw Boamah, has extended a generous gesture to the Council.
On Tuesday, June 24, Mr. Boamah donated 250 packs of bottled water and an undisclosed amount of cash to support the upcoming conference, scheduled for Wednesday, June 25. The donation was received by Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye, Chairman of the Church of Pentecost and President of the GPCC, along with other senior executives of the Council.
Apostle Nyamekye expressed deep appreciation for the MP’s thoughtfulness, describing the gesture as a reflection of goodwill and a commitment to faith-based development. “Your donation is a gesture of goodwill and support for the Christian community, highlighting the importance of interfaith harmony and cooperation in Ghana,” he said
The GPCC’s National Delegates Conference is expected to bring together leaders from Pentecostal and Charismatic churches nationwide to deliberate on key issues affecting the Christian community and chart a path forward for spiritual and national development.
Mr. Boamah noted that the donation forms part of his broader commitment to supporting religious communities across the country. He emphasized that this annual gesture mirrors similar support he extends to the Muslim community during Ramadan.
“This is simply an extension of the goodwill I show to the Christian community, just as I do during Ramadan for our Muslim brothers and sisters.”
