Ag. Chief Justice Signs Book of Condolence in Honour of Helicopter Crash Victims

The Acting Chief Justice of the Republic, His Lordship Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, on Thursday signed the Book of Condolence opened in Parliament in memory of the eight distinguished Ghanaians who tragically lost their lives in the recent helicopter crash.

The solemn ceremony, held within the precincts of Parliament House, drew dignitaries and officials from various arms of government, all united in grief and reflection over the national tragedy.

Following the signing, His Lordship Justice Baffoe-Bonnie paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin. The two leaders engaged in a heartfelt conversation, reflecting on the profound loss and the enduring impact of the departed on the nation’s development.

They also deliberated on the collective responsibility of state institutions in honouring the memory and preserving the legacies of the fallen patriots, whose service to Ghana remains etched in the hearts of many.

The Book of Condolence remains open to the public and dignitaries alike, as the nation continues to mourn and celebrate the lives of the eight individuals whose passing has left an indelible mark on the country.
