President Mahama Commends Julius Debrah, Outlines Bold Plans at Kwahu Business Forum 2026

President John Dramani Mahama has praised Chief of Staff, Hon. Julius Debrah, for his visionary role in conceiving the Kwahu Business Forum and steering its growth into a prominent platform for business and economic engagement in Ghana.

Speaking at the 2026 edition of the Forum, President Mahama outlined ambitious plans to elevate the event further, including the development of a permanent convention, conference, and exhibition centre in partnership with Metalex and Trasacco.

He also announced new incentives under the government’s 24-hour economy initiative to support businesses operating multiple shifts. These include duty-free import of machinery and fast-track port clearance, measures aimed at boosting industrial growth and productivity.

Emphasizing the importance of good corporate citizenship, the President encouraged businesses to pay taxes transparently, plan for succession, and invest in smaller enterprises to drive sustainable growth and job creation.

“The Kwahu Business Forum has become a key platform for innovation, partnerships, and investment, and we are determined to strengthen its role in shaping Ghana’s economic future,” President Mahama stated.

The Forum continues to reinforce its growing significance in Ghana’s economic landscape, serving as a hub for dialogue, collaboration, and forward-looking strategies to advance national development.
