President John Dramani Mahama and First Lady Lordina Dramani Mahama have departed Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a three-day State Visit to Lusaka, Zambia.
The Ghanaian leader and his wife will be received at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport by Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema and the First Lady of Zambia.
The visit underscores President Mahama’s commitment to advancing his vision of a seamlessly connected Africa, anchored on improved transport infrastructure, expanded trade links, and the free movement of people and goods across the continent.
Later tonight, President Mahama is expected to meet with members of the Ghanaian community in Lusaka. On Thursday, he will hold bilateral talks with President Hichilema, focusing on strengthening cooperation between Ghana and Zambia.
A major highlight of the visit will be his address to the National Assembly of Zambia, where he will outline Ghana’s vision for a more integrated and prosperous Africa.
