The Ghana National Petroleum Tanker Drivers Union will on Monday, August 1, 2022, embark on a sit-down strike. The Kumasi High Court has granted bail to a senior lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Dr. Wilberforce Aggrey who is standing trial over the disappearance of his wife, Rhodaline Amoah-Darko, a staff of the Lands Commission in Kumasi. Iranian authorities put three women to death on Wednesday for murdering their husbands, a human rights charity says. Prices of petroleum products are expected to go down between 3% and 6% from August 1st, 2022.
