The Cyber Security Authority (CSA) has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing women’s participation in the cybersecurity sector following a meeting with a delegation from the Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) West Africa Affiliate.
The delegation, led by WiCyS West Africa President Ms. Olayinka Naa Dzama Wilson-Kofi, engaged the CSA on ongoing collaboration, organisational growth, and future areas of partnership aimed at empowering women and girls in the field.
Acting Director-General of the CSA, Mr. Divine Selase Agbeti, assured the Authority’s continued support for WiCyS initiatives in the coming year. He emphasized the importance of strengthening WiCyS as a role model for young girls aspiring to careers in cybersecurity, noting that increased media advocacy would be crucial to amplifying the affiliate’s impact and visibility across the region.
The meeting underscored the shared vision of both institutions to build resilient structures that encourage inclusivity, mentorship, and professional development for women in cybersecurity.
