The newly unveiled facility, named in honor of the Speaker, is designed as a modern, digitalized environment where students can learn, relax, rest, synergize, and dream beyond the traditional confines of lecture hall architecture. Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Rt Hon. Bagbin emphasized the importance of creating spaces that foster creativity and collaboration among students.
“The Hotspot Comfort Zone is not just a building; it is a vision of a future where students can thrive in a holistic environment that supports both academic and personal growth,” he stated.
The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, also addressed the gathering, highlighting the institution’s recent strides in digital transformation. She cited the One Student, One Laptop initiative, which has already benefited over 700 students, as a testament to the university’s commitment to bridging the digital divide.
Prof. Amfo expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the Speaker for his unwavering support toward the completion of the project, noting that the facility will serve as a hub for innovation and student engagement.
