The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that its passport application website, passport.mfa.gov.gh, is back online following the resolution of recent technical challenges.
In a public statement addressed to all media houses, the Ministry confirmed that its technical team, working in collaboration with the National Signals Bureau, successfully restored the site. Applicants can now log in and access services without disruption.
The Ministry expressed appreciation to the public for their patience and understanding during the downtime, assuring that measures are being taken to prevent future interruptions.
The announcement underscores the importance of digital infrastructure in Ghana’s passport application process and highlights ongoing efforts to strengthen e-governance, improve digital public services, and enhance cybersecurity in critical national systems.
