The Youth Are Sick and Tired of the NDC Government – Kojo Bamba

The First Vice Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kojo Fosu Boadu, popularly known as Kojo Bamba, has claimed that Ghanaian youth are increasingly dissatisfied with the performance of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to him, the turnout at the NPP’s “Yɛgye Yɛ Sika” demonstration is a clear indication of growing frustration among young people over what he described as the government’s inability to meet their expectations.

Speaking during the demonstration, Mr. Boadu said many young Ghanaians had become disappointed with the current administration and were using the protest to express their concerns about the country’s economic and social conditions.

“The youth are sick and tired of the NDC government,” he stated, arguing that the strong participation in the demonstration reflected widespread public dissatisfaction.

The NPP executive maintained that young people were looking for improved economic opportunities, jobs and better living conditions, and urged the government to respond to their concerns.

The “Yɛgye Yɛ Sika” demonstration, organised by the NPP, attracted party supporters and sympathisers who gathered to voice concerns about governance and economic issues.

Mr. Boadu said the demonstration should serve as a signal to the government that many citizens, particularly the youth, are demanding policies that will address their challenges and improve their prospects.

The remarks form part of ongoing political exchanges between the governing NDC and the opposition NPP as both parties seek to advance their positions on key national issues and the welfare of Ghanaians.
