The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama, has launched the National Integrity Awards Scheme under the theme “Promoting Integrity, Celebrating Ethical Leadership and Inspiring National Development.”
The initiative seeks to recognise individuals and institutions that exemplify honesty, accountability, and ethical leadership, positioning integrity as a cornerstone of Ghana’s national development agenda.
In his remarks, Mr. Speaker underscored the importance of integrity in public life, urging citizens to uphold transparency and support efforts to build accountable institutions. He emphasised that ethical conduct is not only a personal virtue but also a national imperative for sustainable development.
The awards scheme is designed to inspire ethical behaviour, strengthen public trust, and celebrate outstanding contributions to good governance and national progress.
