R2J Foundation lauches Ramadan outreach

In Africa, vulnerability and poverty are on the rise. This development has been a headache for all heads of state in the continent. Many foundations have done their best to address it. But it seems the problem keeps increasing while the population grows.

Early this year, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), known as Road 2 Jannah (R2J) foundation,  under the leadership of its Founder and Executive Director, Mr Kamaru Abdulai, was set up to help reach out to the poor and needy in the acquisition of skills programmes to eradicate poverty in the communities.

Road 2 Jannah (R2J) foundation’s core values are to treat communities with sensitivity and empathy, transparency and promotion of organisational responsibilities, the dignity of communities and membership and to create an environment for individuals to make confident decisions to help build a better community.

The Foundation is embarking on a Ramadan community outreach with the hashtag #8/100. This seeks to help eradicate poverty and hunger under the goal one of the Sustainable Development Goals.

This outreach is set to grasp eight (8) communities in its maiden edition. These include Ago-Meda, Nsawam, Kasoa, Fadama, the blind community of Zongo, Teshie, Alajo Orphanage home and Borstal Prisons.

Avenues are available for any individual or organisation to come and support in their little way.
