The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the release of postings for 18,416 trained teachers for the 2026/27 service year.
In a statement issued from its headquarters in Accra on April 22, 2026, the Authority said all eligible trained teachers who graduated from accredited Colleges of Education can now access their postings through the NSA website.

The service year officially begins on Monday, May 4, 2026, with regional validation exercises scheduled to run from April 22 to May 2, 2026. The Authority emphasized that participation in the National Service remains a legal requirement for teacher trainees under Ghanaian law.
Director-General of the NSA, Ruth Dela Seddoh, signed the release, underscoring the importance of the program in strengthening the country’s education sector and ensuring that trained teachers contribute to national development.
The announcement marks a significant step in preparing the next cohort of educators to support schools across the country in the upcoming academic year.
