MultiChoice Clarifies DStv Value Offering Amid Public Debate

MultiChoice Ghana has issued a statement clarifying details of its new DStv value offering, following what it described as a “misunderstanding” caused by an earlier publication on its website.

The company confirmed that the revised package, effective October 1, 2025, is being rolled out in partnership with the Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation. It also pledged to continue engaging stakeholders to ensure clarity and transparency in the implementation of the offer.

“MultiChoice Ghana fully supports the joint media statement issued by the Honourable Minister, Hon. Samuel Nartey George, and confirms the implementation of the value offering,” the statement read.

As part of the process, a new committee will be established to oversee the rollout and monitor its impact. The committee is expected to submit its findings within three months. MultiChoice further assured that the offer will be accessible to both existing and new subscribers.

The company concluded by apologising for any inconvenience caused by the earlier miscommunication, stressing its commitment to delivering value to Ghanaian customers.
