Mahama and Holness Reaffirm Ghana–Jamaica Ties

President John Dramani Mahama and Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness have delivered joint media statements following bilateral talks held during President Mahama’s ongoing State Visit to Jamaica.

The two leaders reaffirmed the enduring historical ties between Ghana and Jamaica and outlined a shared vision for expanding cooperation in trade and investment, education, tourism, and agriculture.

Both leaders underscored the importance of strengthening Africa–Caribbean relations, advancing the Pan-African agenda, and deepening collaboration on issues of mutual interest.

President Mahama’s visit continues to highlight Ghana’s growing role in Pan-African diplomacy, while Jamaica’s engagement reflects its commitment to building stronger bridges with Africa in pursuit of shared prosperity and cultural solidarity.
