Ghana Pays Back US$2.1 Billion To Eurobond Holders – Finance Ministry

Ghana has paid back US$2.1 billion to holders of its Eurobonds, the Ministry of Finance has announced.

In a statement, the Ministry said every payment made since January 2025 had been on time and had not touched the country’s savings.

It said the development formed part of Government’s continued efforts to honour its debt obligations and restore confidence in the country’s public finances.

The Ministry did not provide further details on the specific bonds involved or the schedule of the payments.
