Black Princesses Depart for FIFA U‑20 Women’s World Cup

 Seventeen players of Ghana’s Black Princesses, together with the technical team, have departed Accra for Poland ahead of the FIFA U‑20 Women’s World Cup.

The contingent left the Kotoka International Airport on Monday morning, marking the beginning of their campaign on the global stage. The squad, led by the technical bench, is expected to arrive in Poland later today to commence final preparations before the tournament kicks off.

The departure signals Ghana’s determination to make a strong impression at the competition, with the team aiming to build on past performances and showcase the nation’s growing strength in women’s football.

Officials of the Ghana Football Association and family members were present at the airport to bid the team farewell, expressing confidence in the Princesses’ ability to represent the country with pride and distinction.
