A high-level delegation from Jordan, led by Mr. Mo’ath Alzo’bi, Director of Political Affairs at the Office of His Royal Majesty King Abdullah II, has paid a courtesy call on Ghana’s Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, to discuss areas of mutual cooperation and deepen bilateral relations.
The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration in key security areas, including counterterrorism, intelligence sharing, and capacity building for security services.
Hon. Muntaka welcomed the Jordanian delegation and reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to fostering stronger partnerships with Jordan in the areas of security and intelligence cooperation. He emphasized that enhanced collaboration and knowledge exchange between the two countries would significantly strengthen the capacity of their respective security institutions.
The Jordanian delegation expressed readiness to work closely with Ghana to promote shared security objectives and advance cooperation in counterterrorism and other strategic areas of mutual interest.
The discussions underscored the commitment of both countries to deepen cooperation in addressing emerging security threats while promoting regional and global peace and stability.
