The Ghana Education Service (GES) has initiated investigations into an alleged case of sexual misconduct involving a teacher and a student of Bole Senior High School in the Savannah Region.
In a statement issued by the Public Relations Unit of GES, the Service described the matter as “disturbing” and confirmed that management has interdicted the teacher pending the outcome of the investigation. The release, signed by Mr. Daniel Fenyii, Head of Public Relations, emphasized GES’s zero-tolerance policy toward sexual misconduct and reaffirmed its commitment to upholding professional ethics within the education sector.

GES assured the public that all necessary disciplinary and legal actions will be taken against any individual found culpable. The Service also reiterated its dedication to ensuring the safety and protection of all students, stressing that the matter is being handled with the utmost seriousness and urgency.
