The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, has extended heartfelt condolences to the family of Miss Esther Panyin Arthur, who lost her life in a tragic road accident at Bukom on July 27, 2026.
Represented by a delegation from the Ministry, Dr. Lartey’s sympathies were conveyed during the final funeral rites held on Tuesday, August 4, at Bukom. The solemn service drew family members, friends, community leaders, and sympathizers who gathered to pay their last respects.
On behalf of the Minister, the delegation presented a donation to support the bereaved family as they laid their beloved daughter to rest. Following the service, the body of the late Esther Panyin Arthur was conveyed to the Central Region for interment.
The Ministry reaffirmed its deepest sympathies to the Arthur family and all those affected by the tragedy, underscoring its commitment to stand with families in times of loss.
