Fidelity Bank Ghana has donated GH¢200,000 to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (GMTF) to support vulnerable citizens battling chronic non‑communicable diseases who require specialised medical care.
Presenting the cheque, Deputy Managing Director Kwabena Boateng underscored the Bank’s belief that good health is the foundation of national development. He pledged Fidelity Bank’s continued support for initiatives that strengthen healthcare delivery and improve the lives of Ghanaians.
Receiving the donation, GMTF Administrator Adjoa Obuobia Darko‑Opoku expressed gratitude for the timely intervention, assuring that the contribution will go directly towards saving lives, supporting patients, and creating lasting impact.
She emphasised that “every contribution counts, every life matters,” noting that partnerships with institutions such as Fidelity Bank are vital to ensuring that no Ghanaian is denied access to life‑saving treatment because of financial hardship.
The Ghana Medical Trust Fund continues to call on corporate bodies, development partners, and individuals to rally behind its mission of expanding access to specialised healthcare nationwide.
