Chelsea owner Abramovich says UK sanction won’t affect the Blues

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has been condemned by a large number of people across the globe.

The world’s governing body of football (FIFA) and other football governing bodies like UEFA and others have placed sanctions on Russia.

News coming from the United Kingdom indicates that an embargo has been laid on Russian oligarchs.

This has placed Mr Roman Abramovich in a tight situation where all United Kingdom assets of him have been frozen.

This evolution does not stop Chelsea Football Club from operating. It can still operate under a special licence.

According to reports, selling of the club would not be possible for now.
