The Ghana Football Association has confirmed that the Black Stars will play Morocco in an international friendly on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the Grand Stade de Tanger.
The fixture, scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. kick‑off (Morocco time), forms part of the September–October international window and will allow both teams to assess their squads ahead of competitive assignments.
Ghana will first open its 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign against Côte d’Ivoire on September 24, before hosting The Gambia at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 27. The friendly against Morocco will serve as an additional test for Head Coach Carlos Queiroz’s side as they begin a new cycle following the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Officials say the match will provide valuable opportunities to blend experienced players with emerging talents, while sharpening tactical options ahead of the qualifiers.
