GNFS Contain Domestic Fire at Teshie

 Firefighters from the Trade Fair Fire Station swiftly responded to a domestic fire outbreak at Teshie LEKMA, behind Prolife Pharmacy, on Sunday morning.

The distress call was received via telephone at 10:00 hrs, with the duty crew dispatched at 10:01 hrs. Firefighters arrived at the scene at 10:16 hrs to commence containment operations. Through prompt action, the crew successfully brought the blaze under control, preventing further damage to the surrounding structure.

Personal belongings within the affected area were partially burnt, but no casualties were recorded. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Following suppression and damping-down operations, the duty crew, under the command of ADO I Lawrence Lamptey, returned safely to base at 11:06 hrs.

This incident underscores the critical role of the Ghana National Fire Service in safeguarding lives and property, while highlighting the importance of public vigilance and timely emergency reporting.
