Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has underscored the vital role women play in sustaining Ghana’s economy and driving national development, reaffirming government’s commitment to equity and opportunity for all.
In a message acknowledging the contributions of women, the Vice President noted that while many serve within offices and public institutions, countless others operate from markets, streets, and small trading spaces across the country. She described these women as the backbone of local economies, praising their resilience and determination in the face of challenging conditions.
Vice President Opoku-Agyemang also commended women working within the Presidency for their dedication and leadership, emphasizing that promoting equity, respect, and opportunity for every woman is essential to strengthening governance and advancing sustainable national growth.
She further called on both men and women to work together to break barriers and ensure that every woman has the opportunity to thrive and contribute fully to Ghana’s progress.
