Plaque Unveiled Honouring President Mahama at Sahara LPG Vessel Commissioning

A commemorative plaque was unveiled yesterday during the commissioning of the Sahara LPG Vessel, paying tribute to the leadership and commitment of former President John Dramani Mahama.

The plaque, installed as part of the ceremony, recognizes President Mahama’s role in advancing Ghana’s energy infrastructure and his dedication to nation-building, unity, and sustainable development. Officials at the event described the honour as a symbol of Ghana’s continued progress in strengthening its energy sector and embracing cleaner energy solutions for the future.

The Sahara LPG Vessel itself stands as a milestone achievement, reflecting the resilience, strength, and enduring spirit of the Ghanaian people. Industry leaders noted that the vessel will contribute significantly to the nation’s energy security, while also supporting efforts to transition toward more environmentally sustainable practices.

The commissioning ceremony brought together government officials, energy sector stakeholders, and community representatives, all of whom underscored the importance of investing in infrastructure that not only meets present needs but also safeguards the future.

As Ghana continues to expand its energy capacity, the plaque serves as a lasting reminder of the vision and leadership that have guided the country’s journey toward progress and sustainability.
