The Greater Accra regional Zabarma chief, Alhaji Musah Yahaya  calls for peace and unity among Zabaram origin in Ghana.

The Greater Accra regional Zabarma chief, Alhaji Musah Yahaya Yandu has made a clarion call for peace and unity amongst people of Zabarma Origin living in Ghana. He made this appeal when he spoke to the media at the Maiden Zabarma Sallah Festival held in the greater Accra region.

The festival which has the theme Unifying Zabarma Communities to Promote It’s Cultural Hertage brought together hundreds of zabarma people both young and old who participated in a health work from Nima roundabout to New Fadama where the event was climax with inter communinity football Gala completion.

Speaking to the media, Chief Yandu expressed his satisfaction over the turnout.

“Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, the people have really come out in their numbers, because it was not done in hiding. We were asked to converge at the Nima roundabout and walk from there to fadama so those who cannot walk won’t come out so you’ve seen the numbers yourself. See all our chiefs are here”. Said Chief Yandu.

Among the participants were various Zabarma chiefs in the Greater Accra region including the Zabarma Chief of Nima Ayawaso, Alhaji Seidu Hassan Loius, who on his part admonished Zabarma people to continue to support the leadership of Chief Yandu because he is the only Zabarma chief in Greater Accra and has the mandate of the entire people.

 

“I am happy because all our people are gathered here so that we can take the opportunity to know each other more than before. We are united here today as children of the same mother and father. That’s why we have to show Yaya Yandu suppor, we have to show him love because he is our chief for the whole greater Accra and Ghana as a whole in his position as the chairman of the National Zabarma council of Chiefs. He has our Mandate”. Chief Louis said.

The Madina Zongo Chief, Chief Abdullai Ali Dagadu who is part of the organizers of the event also underscore how well organized the Ghanaian Zabarma people who have contributed immensely to the development of Ghana particularly, in the areas chieftaincy, education, trade and wealth creation.
