Speaker of Parliament Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has cut the sod for the construction of an eight-unit classroom block for the Anywrase E.P. Basic School in the Awudome Traditional Area, bringing renewed hope to the community.

Standing alongside the Member of Parliament for Ho West, Emmanuel Kwesi Bedzrah, the Speaker pledged his full support for the initiative and personally committed to ensuring the project’s completion.

In his remarks, Speaker Bagbin emphasized that education remains the cornerstone of national development. “Investing in education is an investment in the future of the nation,” he said, urging the community to remain united and intentional about instilling strong moral values in children. He noted that while technology continues to evolve, it must never replace sound guidance and discipline.

The ceremony was marked by excitement and optimism, symbolizing opportunity and a renewed commitment to building a brighter and more secure future for the children of Awudome.
