The Ghana Police Service has arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting incident that occurred at the Adjin Kotoku Onion Market on 5th April 2026.
According to a statement, surveillance officers from the Special Operations Assistant (SOA) to the Inspector General of Police were deployed to the area following the disturbance. The team conducted an intelligence-led operation to track down those involved.
On 8th April 2026, at about 3:00 p.m., officers arrested Inusah Seidu, aged 40, from his hideout at Adjin Kotoku. He is believed to have played a role in the shooting incident.
Police confirmed that Seidu is currently in custody assisting with investigations. Efforts are underway to locate and apprehend other individuals connected to the case.
The Ghana Police Service assured the public of its commitment to maintaining law and order and urged residents to remain calm as investigations continue.
