OSP Accepts Revised Bail Terms for Paul Adom-Otchere

The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has agreed to new bail conditions submitted by lawyers representing Mr. Paul Adom-Otchere, the former Board Chairman of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL).

The updated terms, which satisfy the requirements of the original bail arrangement, were secured by the Jospong Group of Companies, who have stepped in to act as surety for Mr. Adom-Otchere.

Sources close to the matter indicate that the OSP is still actively investigating the case, and the acceptance of the revised bail does not signal the conclusion of the probe.

Mr. Adom-Otchere, a seasoned broadcaster and public servant, has been under scrutiny as part of ongoing efforts by the OSP to ensure transparency and accountability in public office.

While details of the investigation remain under wraps, the Special Prosecutor’s office has assured the public of its commitment to due process and the rule of law.

The Jospong Group’s involvement as surety has raised eyebrows in some quarters, but legal experts say it falls within the bounds of lawful bail arrangements.

As the case unfolds, many Ghanaians are watching closely, with expectations that justice will be served without fear or favour.
