The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the reopening of its portal for the application of Pin‑Codes for defaulters and private candidates for the 2026/2027 service year.
The portal, reopened on Monday, 31st August 2026, will remain accessible until Friday, 4th September 2026, which the Authority has emphasized as the final deadline for registration.
Eligible applicants include Ghanaian nationals who have completed their studies abroad, private candidates, and individuals who previously faced registration challenges. The Authority has urged all applicants to complete their registration and submit required documents before the deadline.
The directive is in line with the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), which mandates every Ghanaian citizen who has completed tertiary education to undertake national service.
In its statement, the NSA stressed that the reopening is intended to provide a final opportunity for defaulters and private candidates to comply with the law. The Authority warned that failure to register within the stipulated period would result in disqualification from the 2026/2027 service year.
The notice was signed by the Management of the National Service Authority, underscoring the compulsory nature of national service as a civic duty.
