Ministry of Foreign Affairs Charts Path for 2026 at Strategic Retreat

The management of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has concluded a two-day retreat at its headquarters in Accra, aimed at reviewing the Ministry’s performance in 2025 and setting out a collective agenda for the year ahead.

The retreat, held over the weekend, brought together senior officials and departmental heads to assess achievements, identify challenges, and outline strategic priorities for 2026.

In a statement, the Ministry described the exercise as “a most fulfilling and strategic use of our Saturday and Sunday,” adding that the team is “absolutely confident of meeting our ambitious targets.”

Officials emphasized that the Ministry remains committed to serving Ghanaians better in 2026 by strengthening collaboration with international partners and adopting smarter approaches to diplomacy and service delivery.

The retreat forms part of ongoing efforts to ensure that Ghana’s foreign policy continues to advance the nation’s interests globally while enhancing efficiency and responsiveness at home.
