The Ministry of Education has cautioned parents, guardians, and students against fake and manipulated Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results being circulated on social media.
In a statement signed by Press Secretary Hashmin Mohammed, the Ministry revealed that unscrupulous individuals have attempted to alter and distribute falsified placement slips, falsely claiming changes to original results. Officials stressed that these claims are baseless and that the fake slips do not match official records.
The Ministry assured the public that the placement process remains transparent and accountable, emphasizing that all legitimate results can be verified only through official channels. It urged students and parents to disregard any slips shared outside the Ministry’s platforms.
The matter has been referred to the Cyber Security Authority for investigation. The Ministry pledged to continue working with relevant agencies to protect the integrity of the placement system and safeguard students from misinformation.
Reiterating its commitment to fairness, the Ministry emphasized that the CSSPS remains the sole official mechanism for school placements and encouraged the public to rely exclusively on the Ministry’s website and designated communication outlets for accurate information.
