Rosie Glazebrook, an Independent Director of MAKE UK, The Manufacturers’ Organisation, has paid a courtesy call on Ghana’s Ambassador, H.E. Sabah Zita Benson, in the company of Ivy Heward Mills, to formally introduce the organisation and explore potential opportunities for collaboration and investment in Ghana.
H.E. Benson welcomed the engagement and expressed the Mission’s readiness to work closely with MAKE UK to foster mutually beneficial partnerships that will support industrial growth and economic development.
MAKE UK represents 27 manufacturing companies under its umbrella and is affiliated with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), which boasts over 50,000 members. Many of these members have expressed interest in exploring investment opportunities in Ghana, particularly in sectors aligned with the country’s industrialisation agenda.
The meeting underscored Ghana’s commitment to attracting strategic partnerships that can strengthen local manufacturing, enhance value addition, and create sustainable jobs.
