John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of Ghana’s opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has made a bold promise to transform Ghana’s economy and ensure no citizen worries about their next meal.
Speaking at the Sekondi Methodist Park, he envisioned a Ghana where everyone has equal access to opportunities, quality education, and decent work, with no one left behind.
Mahama’s plan centers around the 24-hour economic model, a key part of the NDC’s 2024 election manifesto. This model aims to:
– Boost Youth Opportunities: Create jobs and enhance productivity
– Increase Exports: Reduce dependence on imports and stabilize the currency
– Rejuvenate the Economy: Drive growth through industrialization, agricultural modernization, and small business support
With this vision, Mahama promises strong, honest leadership that accepts responsibility and promotes accountability. He believes that by working together, Ghanaians can create a prosperous nation where families thrive and no one goes hungry. “Our people deserve to smile again,” he emphasized.
As a former President of Ghana, Mahama has experience in leadership and economic development. His commitment to sustainability and social justice has been evident throughout his career .
Now, he’s calling on all Ghanaians to join him in building a brighter future for their country.
