President John Dramani Mahama has sworn in Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sapong as Chief Fire Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service and Samuel Basintale Amadu as Comptroller-General of the Ghana Immigration Service.

At the ceremony, President Mahama charged the newly appointed leaders to provide decisive leadership and uphold the highest standards of discipline and professionalism in their respective institutions. He emphasized the critical role of the Fire Service in safeguarding lives and property through effective emergency response, and the Immigration Service in strengthening border management systems to protect national security.

The President expressed confidence that the appointments would enhance institutional performance, noting that both agencies are central to Ghana’s safety and stability. He urged the officers to work diligently to modernize operations, improve service delivery, and inspire public trust in their organizations.

The swearing-in marks a significant step in the government’s efforts to reinforce key national institutions tasked with protecting citizens and securing the country’s borders.
