Grounded in the spirit of Pan-Africanism, the measure underscores Ghana’s commitment to enhancing mobility, fostering economic cooperation, and promoting people-to-people exchanges in line with the continent’s integration agenda.

The new policy will be supported by the launch of a modern e-visa platform, designed to streamline application processes and improve efficiency for travelers worldwide. Despite the waiver of fees, officials emphasized that all applicants will continue to undergo full security screening in line with international standards.

The initiative has been hailed as a bold step toward strengthening African unity and positioning Ghana as a hub for business, tourism, and cultural exchange. By removing financial barriers to entry, the government aims to encourage greater collaboration across borders and reinforce its role in advancing continental integration.
