The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has officially commenced its 2026 enlistment exercise for commissioned officers, with applications set to open nationwide this week.
According to a statement issued by the Department of Public Relations at General Headquarters, Burma Camp, the official advertisement appeared in the Ghanaian Times on August 31 and in the Daily Graphic on September 1.
Application vouchers, priced at GH₵200, will be available at designated Ghana Post Offices across the country beginning Thursday, September 3. The online portal — https://applymil.gh — will open on Friday, September 4, with a submission deadline of Wednesday, September 23.
The Armed Forces cautioned the public against fraudulent agents and middlemen who claim to influence the selection process. “The Ghana Armed Forces neither authorizes nor condones payments to individuals who claim to be agents, middlemen, or representatives,” the release stressed.
For official information, applicants are advised to rely solely on GAF’s verified social media handles — @OfficialGAF and @GhanaArmedForcesOfficial — or contact 0256 405 104 and WhatsApp 0256 405 154. These same numbers may be used to report fraudulent activity.
The press release was signed by Captain Veronica Adzo Arhin of the Ghana Navy, Acting Director General of Public Relations, and circulated to all media houses for publication.
