President John Dramani Mahama will host the President of the Gabonese Republic, His Excellency Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, for a three-day official visit to Ghana from 28th to 30th July 2026, aimed at strengthening the longstanding bilateral relations between the two countries.
The visit will feature a private tête-à-tête meeting between the two Heads of State, followed by official bilateral talks at Jubilee House. Discussions will review existing areas of cooperation and explore new opportunities in sectors including trade and investment, mining, energy, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, maritime affairs, transport, tourism, education, health, defence and security, environmental protection, climate action, and people-to-people exchanges.
The engagements are expected to reaffirm the shared commitment of Ghana and Gabon to deepening bilateral cooperation and promoting sustainable economic development.
This visit underscores Ghana’s growing role in regional diplomacy and highlights Gabon’s interest in expanding partnerships across West Africa.
