Vice President Opoku-Agyemang Represents Ghana at AU–EU Summit in Luanda

Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is in Luanda, Angola to represent President John Dramani Mahama at the ongoing 7th African Union–European Union Summit.

Her Excellency is expected to deliver Ghana’s national statement at the high-level gathering, which brings together African and European leaders to deliberate on shared priorities. The statement will highlight Ghana’s focus on economic stability, job creation, food security, climate action, peace and security, and value-chain development.

Officials say the Vice President’s participation underscores Ghana’s commitment to strengthening multilateral cooperation and advancing policies that safeguard the country’s democratic and developmental gains.

Professor Opoku-Agyemang is scheduled to return to Accra on 26th November 2025 after the conclusion of the summit.
