Ghana’s internal security agencies have officially launched their nationwide recruitment drive today, Monday, November 17, 2025, with the opening of the Centralised Services E-Recruitment Portal (C-SERP).
According to a public announcement, the portal will remain open until Friday, December 19, 2025, giving prospective applicants a one-month window to submit applications to join the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Ghana Prisons Service.
The Interior Minister, Muntaka Mubarak, disclosed the commencement of the exercise in a Facebook post.
He explained that applicants are required to purchase a voucher before accessing the portal. Vouchers can be obtained via the USSD code 71303# on all mobile networks or at any branch of GCB Bank nationwide.
The notice further emphasized that applicants must specify the particular security agency for which they are purchasing a voucher to ensure proper processing of their applications.
The C-SERP platform was introduced to simplify recruitment procedures, enhance transparency, and provide easier access for qualified Ghanaian citizens.
Government has reiterated its commitment to a fair, merit-based, and corruption-free recruitment process, cautioning the public against fraudulent schemes.
A statement added: “The government of John Dramani Mahama, through the Ministry of the Interior, has outlined the core requirements and necessary documents for the 2025/26 centralized e-recruitment process. Applicants are strongly advised to read carefully and comply with all instructions.”
