The Ministry of Health has announced the opening of its recruitment portal for the employment of the 36th batch of Medical Officers and Dentists who have successfully completed their house job training and have been duly verified by the Medical and Dental Council.
In a public notice issued on October 25, 2026, the Ministry said the recruitment exercise forms part of efforts to address staffing gaps in health facilities across the country.
According to the Ministry, qualified applicants are required to submit their applications through the Ministry’s online recruitment portal at https://moh-recruitment.com and follow the prescribed procedures to select their preferred regions, districts and agencies.
The Ministry stated that the recruitment portal will officially open for applications on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., while the deadline for submission of applications has been set for Thursday, October 29, 2026.
It urged all eligible candidates to complete their applications within the stipulated period and ensure that all required information is accurately provided.
The Ministry further assured applicants that the recruitment process would remain transparent and merit-based.
It also cautioned applicants against dealing with individuals who may claim to offer assistance in exchange for money, emphasizing that no payments are required at any stage of the recruitment process.
“The Ministry of Health advises all applicants NOT to make any payment for this process,” the statement stressed.
The Ministry called on prospective applicants to remain vigilant and report any fraudulent activities associated with the recruitment exercise.
The notice was signed by the Chief Director of the Ministry of Health.
The recruitment is expected to facilitate the deployment of newly qualified Medical Officers and Dentists to health facilities nationwide to strengthen healthcare delivery and improve access to essential medical services.
