The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has congratulated newly elected constituency executives of the party and commended members for the peaceful conduct of the constituency executive elections.
In a congratulatory message issued following the elections, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah described the outcome as a reflection of the party’s democratic values and urged the newly elected officials to serve with dedication and commitment.
He noted that the executives had been entrusted with the responsibility of leading the party at the grassroots level and expressed confidence in their ability to discharge their duties effectively.
“To all who were elected, I extend my warm congratulations. You have been entrusted with the care of the Party at the level where it matters most, and I am confident you will serve the Party well,” he stated.
The NDC Chairman also commended all candidates who contested the elections, praising what he described as the discipline exhibited during their campaigns.
He further lauded party members for demonstrating restraint, maturity and commitment to maintaining peace throughout the electoral process.
Johnson Asiedu Nketiah expressed appreciation to the party’s electoral committees at the regional and constituency levels, as well as all individuals who contributed to the successful organisation of the elections.
According to him, their efforts helped ensure that the process remained open, orderly and peaceful.
The National Chairman called on party members to continue working together to strengthen the party’s structures and advance its objectives ahead of future political engagements.
The constituency executive elections form part of the NDC’s internal electoral process aimed at electing leaders to manage and coordinate party activities at the constituency level across the country.
