A new Global InfoAnalytics survey has revealed dramatic shifts in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer race, underscoring volatility among delegates ahead of the 2028 contest.
The poll, conducted between September 11 and 13, 2026, sampled 3,615 delegates nationwide with a 99 percent confidence level and a margin of error of ±2.17 percent.
Key Findings
- Ato Forson surged to 32 percent, a ten‑point jump from July, overtaking NDC Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia, who dropped four points to 23 percent.
- Haruna Iddrisu slipped slightly to 5 percent, while Prof. Jane Naana Opoku‑Agyemang fell to 4 percent.
- Julius Debrah also polled 4 percent, and Prof. Joshua Alabi edged up to 2 percent.
- Eric Opoku and “Others” remained at 1 percent each.
- The undecided bloc shrank modestly from 30 percent to 28 percent, still representing a significant share of delegates.
