President John Dramani Mahama used the occasion of Ghana’s 69th Independence Day Parade to deliver a message of encouragement to the nation’s youth, affirming their central role in shaping the country’s future.
“To the young people of this country, I see you, I hear you and I believe in your potential. You belong to a generation that is armed with tools and opportunities that earlier generations could hardly have imagined,” the President declared.
His remarks underscored the administration’s recognition of the transformative power of Ghana’s younger generation, who are increasingly equipped with digital skills, global networks, and innovative ideas. Mahama’s message sought to inspire confidence and responsibility among the youth, positioning them as key drivers of national renewal and prosperity.
