Iconic Dancehall/Reggae artiste Livingstone Etsa Satekla better known as Stonebwoy, has once again cemented his position as a global music icon by clinching the prestigious Artiste of the Year award at the Ghana Music Awards UK 2024.
The star-studded ceremony, held at the Meridian Grand, N18 3AF in London on Saturday, November 30, saw a plethora of Ghanaian music luminaries in attendance, including King Ayisoba, Joseph Matthew, Fuse ODG, Akosua Agyapong, Mr Drew, and Episode.
The night was filled with accolades, as legendary singer Akosua Adjepong was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award, while Ofori Amponsah and Mark Darlington received Special Honoree Awards.
Originally planned for October 29, 2024, the event was rescheduled to November 30, 2024, due to unforeseen circumstances. Notably, one of the headline acts, Sarkodie, was unable to attend. Other artiste who also won awards on the night included ‘Joseph Matthew, King Promise, Mr Drew and Sarkodie.
